The ISBE Career Guide for the 2020-21 school year is now ready to order. Visit www.ilcareerguide.com for pricing and ordering instructions. Early Bird discounted pricing is available through June 30th, and guides will be delivered by mid-September.
The ISBE Career Guide was created to better promote CTE and career pathways to students, parents, counselors and teachers. EFE systems, school districts and local schools can order and distribute ISBE Career Guides for career exploration, CTE awareness, counselor 1-1’s, course registration, and open houses.

Teach Plus Illinois
As teachers design and manage remote learning in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Teach Plus Illinois is announcing All Means All: Making Remote Learning Work for Every Illinois Student. They will provide a free, facilitated, collaborative space for Illinois teachers to adapt to the new remote learning environment. Teacher leaders from Teach Plus Illinois, the Illinois State Teachers of the Year and the National Board have partnered together to provide leadership and in their content area for all participants. These teachers will lead weekly collaborative planning and problem solving sessions, divided by grade band and content area to address communication engagement strategies, social and emotional supports, and provide a basic schema for curriculum planning. These weekly, ongoing professional learning communities are free on a space-available basis to all Illinois teachers.

Free educational resources to support educators now!
AVID Open Access™ is an open educational resource for free, best-of-the best digital teaching and learning and STEM lessons, tips, and tools. These carefully curated digital tools, videos, and class activities can be immediately accessed by educators anywhere, anytime. They work with whatever curriculum, devices, and platforms schools may use. Teachers do not need prior knowledge of AVID strategies.
